APPLE BOTTOMS FRAGRANCE By Nelly (Launches Fall 09)
Alright my Ladies Nelly will be introducing to you Apple Bottoms signature fragrance The fragrance will be packaged in a bottle with feminine curves and a gold apple medallion which will also feature gold chain images and a python print. Vice president of product development at Romane, MarieAnna Ferdinand, stated “We really wanted to tie in with the brand’s look in apparel.”
The fragrance will be bearing a mixture of citrus, pink peony, rose and coconut, sandalwood, amber, musk and of course, a subtle hint of apple. It will also come in a 3.4-oz. eau de parfum which will be retailed at $58 and a 1.7-oz for $48, also a body lotion and body wash for $22 and $20 respectively. Apple Bottoms by Nelly will be launched this September, along with Nelly’s scheduled appearances to build awareness of the fragrance, the Apple Bottoms apparel and his new album.
Romane is optimistic about the fragrance, as Ferdinand stated “This isn’t really only a celebrity fragrance; it is a brand of its own.”
Ferdinand also hinted that Apple Bottoms by Nelly is not the last of Romane’s collaboration with celebrities. She added,”We are always looking for new opportunities.”
