Finally, the video we all been waiting for. Kanye West’s “Monster” music video has finally hit the net today. Thou I’m still waiting for the HQ version, this will do for now. To be honest I’m not that excited about it the screen shot that leaked weeks ago made it look like it was gonna be maybe a mini movie or detailed storyline.  It’s still a hot song check it out!

The imagery for this video looks Great. I’m loving the dead girl all over the house lol. Can’t wait to see Nicki Minaj! She did have one of the best verses on the track.

Hova and publisher Spiegel & Grau—an imprint of the Random House Publishing Group—are set to release Decoded, a narrative journey through the lyrics and life of one of the most prolific artists of our time.

According to a press release, the book decodes 36 songs from Jay-Z’s extensive catalog, telling the stories behind some of Jay’s most famous and provocative lyrics and offering an intimate, first-hand account of an artist, his work, and the culture that so powerfully shaped him.

Jay-Z has spoke on the book and why he’s decided to come out with some literature:

“When I first started working on this book, I told my editor that I wanted it to do three important things,” he said via press release. “The first was to make the case that hip-hop lyrics—not just my lyrics, but those of every great MC—are poetry if you look at them closely enough. The second was I wanted the book to tell a little bit of the story of my generation, to show the context for the choices we made at a violent and chaotic crossroads in recent history.  And the third piece was that I wanted the book to show how hip-hop created a way to take a very specific and powerful experience and turn it into a story that everyone in the world could feel and relate to.”

This was an NYC event that all hip hop heads we’re excited to go see! From the looks of the videos it seemed it succeeded the hype. I seen Jay on his Blue Prints III tour and he murdered it! so I know him and Eminem together put it down. Check out some of the performances and pics of the concert. 9 yr old Willow Smith made a huge impact yesterday with the release of her first single “Whip My Hair.” I’m still in shock about how good the song really is and apparently so was Jay Z
