This has been a hot song all summer long. The new remix features Mary J Blige and Swizz Beatz. I heard this one on the road this past weekend as well. I love that Mary J is on the remix she definitely adds some spice to the song. The officially video was released yesterday. I must admit I was not impressed one bit and little disappointed. I’m sure the album will make up for the video. I still love you Jazmine!

Jazmine Sullivan “Holding You Down” Feat Mary J Blige & Swizz Beatz

This video can defiantly relate to a lot of young couples trying to figure it out and work through their relationship problems. Mary always seems to take us to reality in her music and videos.

I just checked out both of Mary’s new tracks, which sound like two complete different genres. ‘Whole Lotta Love’ is a rock joint that turns into a dance party produced by Red One. Mary sings like a total rocker chick in this one especially toward the end. It took me a min to recognize it was her. The guitar breakdown it my favorite part. ‘I Can’t Wait’ is a dance party track produced by Will.I.Am. It’s sounds like Mary J’s version of Whitney‘s ‘Million Dollar Bill’ and Robin S ‘Show Me Love‘. That song still plays in the club til this day. Both are good ones to check out! I also had to post the Robin S joint enjoy!!
